In 2020, Out East will be making changes to remain the top resource for Hamptons buyers, sellers, renters and their agents. We will be focused on three initiatives:
- Improving the accuracy of our listings
- Growing our consumer audience
- Strengthening our relationship with agents and brokerages
To support these initiatives, we have announced a few major changes.
- On January 1, 2020, Out East will transition to a free listing platform for agents.
- On January 1, 2020, to appear on Zillow, Trulia, or Hotpads, agents must first enter new listings on Out East.
- We’ve launched a mobile app to drive continued promotion among consumers.

When are these changes taking effect?
Our last billing cycle will take place in early January to collect for December 2019. We will not charge for services beginning January 1, 2020. RealNet will sunset February.
What happens to my listing on Jan. 1? Do I need to do something to ensure it stays active?
No action is needed from agents. This is simply a billing change.
When will the last invoice go out?
The invoice for services in December will go out in early January as usual. No invoice will be sent for services provided during the month of January.
Will we be able to post commercial listings on Out East?
Out East, and Zillow’s entire portfolio of brands, are residential only.
Can I use Agent Tools if my brokerage doesn’t have a relationship with Out East?
Yes. Starting Jan 1, 2020, a brokerage subscription will no longer be required for agents to utilize Out East’s platform and tools. Out East will retire its subscription model and all agents will be able to individually post and manage their listings on Out East for free.
How can I set up a new account with Out East?

You can download the app from the Apple app store. Currently, the app is only available for iOS devices.
